Lacto-n-tetraose
This sculpture is made of homemade cupcakes, arranged and colour-coded in a three-dimensional model of lacto-N-tetraose. Lacto-N-Tetraose is a complex molecular structure found in breast milk that feeds the gut flora in a newborn. This substance, along with others, make up 10% of the calories in mother's milk that goes not to feeding the infant, but to creating a healthy environment for the baby to flourish. Its structure is used as a metaphor for all the labour that goes beyond basic care yet supports a healthy environment for kids to grow into healthy adults. Precariously balanced, yet intense attention to detail, this sculpture is a testament to the labour, both biological and emotional, that mothers put into raising their children.

your mother doesn't work here
These four videos are to be run at the same time, close to each other. Although light-hearted, these stop-motion videos respond to the invisibility of the individual providing emotional labour within the domestic sphere.

348 days til christmas!
This project consisted of taking a Polaroid everyday of something "meaningful", which was ended at Christmas. Although "348 Days Before Christmas!" began as a project of mindfulness, it soon turned into a chore, then into an endurance piece critiquing the multiple, yet seemingly small labours parents are required to perform in order to provide family stability. These labours are mostly unsung and are marked by the parent, but routinely are not acknowledged by those who benefit from them or by society at large.

Keep you safe/patticake.
This project examines the repetitive nature of memory and nostalgia, especially focusing on one's own children.
